Atrium LLP Announces Veteran Startup Attorneys to Join as New Partners of the Firm
We are excited to announce the new incoming partners of Atrium LLP Michel Narganes and Matthew Melville. Combined, they have over 25 years of experience practicing law working across the startup ecosystem. Their specialties include but are not limited to, corporate advice and strategy, venture and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other advanced corporate transactions.
As partners of the law firm, Michel and Matthew will run our legal operations, head up client relations, supervise legal product strategy, oversee the projects of the legal providers in Atrium’s professional services network, and parachute into deals and other projects as needed. Additionally, they will play a critical role in helping integrate our legal services to our broader catalog of offerings going beyond legal.
About Our New Partners
Matthew Melville, previously with firms such as Goodwin and Lowenstein Sandler, has over 10 years of experience as a legal advisor specializing in emerging company work including venture capital financings and M&A. “I’m passionate about helping startups succeed because one great idea can change how the world works. I’m attracted to the energy and risk-taking inherent in successful startups. Lawyers are typically risk-averse and for me to work in a space where it’s all about risk is exciting as I get to be close to the action and help founders navigate the murky waters.”
Michel Narganes has been practicing law for over 15 years and was most recently with Sitecore as its Senior Legal Counsel where she ran the global M&A, financing, corporate compliance, and general corporate legal practices. As a previous founder of her own firm, clients relate to her entrepreneurial spirit and appreciate her empathy in understanding their startup journey. She is passionate about ensuring clients receive the strategic legal advice they need to optimally grow and scale their startups. Learn more about Michel.
“I am excited to be at Atrium at the start of its new direction to provide broader professional services beyond legal. The ability to continue to provide great legal advice as an attorney but marry that to the strategic business counsel we’re offering founders, is an opportunity I couldn’t miss. Atrium’s new direction offers a soft landing that gives founders a more strategic partnership with their professional service providers as they embark on their growth journey.”
